Volunteering At Opportunity Canada

Opportunity International Canada highly values its volunteers and the contributions they make to the organization. Opportunity Canada aims to make volunteering with us a mutually beneficial experience for both the organization and the volunteer. Volunteers have an opportunity to contribute to and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and rapidly expanding international development organization. All volunteer opportunities are unpaid.

We are urgently looking for volunteers who are available during our working hours for "on call drop-in administrative support."

These tasks could be things like assistance with packaging mailings, processing the Faces of Opportunity book orders, etc. During peek times of need approximately every month or so, we will send out a call for volunteers - normally asking for a three to four hour time commitment.

Ideal candidates are people who are available on short notice, able to travel to our office, and available for at least a few hours between Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm. To be placed on this list, please email amadonia@opportunityinternational.ca with "ON CALL VOLUNTEER" written in the subject line or call 416-444-2448. If you are interested in providing administrative support on a more regular basis, please note this in your email.
